Maybe you’re looking for somewhere to belong, for honest friendships, for somewhere to come and ask questions and work through what life is about. If that’s you, why not come along and join in?

Coniston Christian Fellowship started in the late 1980s with a clear focus on ministering to families and children, and was heavily involved in sharing the Good News of Salvation in Christ with the young people of the village.

For many years Alan and Glenda Phillips led Crusaders and the Fellowship in Coniston, and we are grateful for their faithfulness and vision in doing so. Many of the Fellowship are still involved with the young people’s work which is now coordinated by a Youth and Children’s worker funded by all the churches in the village.

In recent years the Fellowship has changed with people coming and going to/from Coniston (including Alan and Glenda), and, although our numbers are small, we are often supplemented by regular visitors and tourists.

Our meetings are usually interactive and contemporary in style and last for around about an hour or so. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper once a month and all who love the Lord Jesus are welcome to participate.

During school term time we also meet for Bible Study in one of our homes. This usually runs from 7:30pm until 9:30pm. Everyone is welcome. If you would like details please contact us by email via the ‘Contact Us’ page.

We aim to be :

… a welcoming church

where people matter, because they matter to God, whether they are sceptics, enquirers or believers. There will always be a warm welcome if you are able to visit us

…. a Christian church

where knowing and following Jesus, the one who shows God to us, is what excites and drives us.

….. an Evangelical church

where God speaks to us as we open up the Bible, and find in its pages power, purpose and God Himself.
